Roosevelt Alternative School saw
The show was great! The content was meaningful. The students made the connection between the physiology of the eye and the mechanics of the laser. They also got to see another side of math -- that it is needed to drive something entertaining. Jackie Harris, the science teacher who co-wrote the grant, took several of your cards to pass on to other science teachers in her cohort. Charles was very adept at adjusting the equipment “on the fly” to match the room conditions and the students’ questions. It was a terrific morning. I think the teachers and staff enjoyed the assembly even more than the students!! It was wonderful way to culminate a grueling month of PSSA testing with fun and purpose. I would be happy to be a reference for you.
