A musical comedy with audience participation integrating:
• PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports)
• Common Core Standards for Language Arts
• 'Character Counts!'
It is April 30th, 1789, inauguration day for the first President of the United States, George Washington. He is both nervous and exhausted and begins to dose off. In a daydream, he is visited by King Charlemagne, Cleopatra and Confucius. Each of these characters shares their leadership qualities and philosophies with George. With the help of these leaders, and your students, George is able to better understand how to lead a nation of the people, by the people and for the people.
Participatory in-school musicals addressing the Common CoreStandards, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), Character Counts Values and PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports). For 27 years Face to Face Productions has produced original musicals which engage, enlighten and entertain school audiences with the artistic quality equal to "field trip" productions in large venues (at a fraction of the cost). To paraphrase Ben Franklin "A video is worth a thousand words." Check out clips from all of our shows on You Tube (Search under "Face to Face Productions" and the title of each show). You will see why 52 schools in the Chicagoland area alone have invited us back for at least 18 of the last 27 years.
