This is a comprehensive Healthy Choices/Tobacco Prevention performance for ELementary schools.

Stylistically-Spoken Wrd, Poetry, Mime with Voice Over, Magic, Juggling with Voice Over, Skits, Illusion and Characters.

 

Thematically it covers-Tobacco Companies Ploys to get CHildren to Smoke, 2nd Hand SMoke, Addiction, Chewing Tobacco, The Media, Heroes, Peer Pressure, History of Tobacco and more.

 

CHoice is the operative word

As a performer and director Jody Scalise won-"Best New Work" at the International Mime and Movement Festival.

Recieved two American Cable Awards for his performances on PBS with the Springfield Symphony Orchestra.

Was Artist in Residence at UMASS Amherst for three years..

Was privately instructed by Marcel Marceau.

Was a cast memeber of the Emmy winning show "Catch a Rainbow" on ABC Television.

Taught Theater at Linden Hill School for Dyslexia. Taught at the Academy at Charlemont.

Founded the first New England Mime Festival. Artist In Residence-Very Special Arts

Was sponsored for National Tours of his Bully, Tobacco and Drug Prevention shows by the American Cancer Society, MADD, SADD, VKAT, OVX, Head Start, Massachusets Department of Health, Roswell Park Cancer Institute, DARE, TATU, and many more.

Lincoln Center Comedy Festival, Festival of American Mime, One World One Heart Festival, New England Mime Festival, Chicago Blues Festival, Newport Folk Festival, Boston Children's Museum, Boston Museum of Science, Presenter at the Pracr Awards for Rosa Parks and John Lennon, International Childrens Festival, PM Magazine, Colleges, High Schools, Middle Schools and Elementary Schools Nationally.
