A Musical Play »
Educational, humorous, moving, interesting, motivating are only a few of the words that describe it...This is a cultural arts program that your school should not miss! --- Hallie Ann Wannamaker- Kindergarten Teacher
Letter Land: The Case of T's Teasing is an interactive one-man musical that can be booked for its entertainment value alone...but has the added benefit of the heartwarming message that everyone's feelings really do matter!
In the spirit of Chicka, Chicka, Boom, Boom, four letters spring to life...brought to life through Alex Ishkanian's singing, acting, and dancing abilities. The children come to learn that each letter has a predicament- Letter T- the teaser-has to figure out a way to change his teasing habit; Letter U- the unlucky letter getting bothered - has to figure out a way to make his situation better; Letter V- the viewer of T's silly and unkind shenanigans (and sometimes an uncomfortable follower)- wants to become brave to tell T to stop; and Letter W - the wise teacher-like figure - doesn't know exactly what is happening because his eyes can't be everywhere. Because of the ongoing dialouge between the characters and the audience, in the end the children can take much of the credit for the happy ending which sees all the letters solving their problems. Even T, in a crowd-pleasing song and dance number, decides there are other things he can excel at besides teasing!
