Georgette brings a lively, interactive format to her South American Adventure assembly sharing bug neclaces, giant fish scales, alligators pirahnas and other unusual artifacts on the hands on tables she provides as part of her show. Playing the guitar and Venezuelan instrument called the cuatro, Georgette teaches children songs in Spanish, Geography, scientific facts and gets them stomping and giggling to the marvelous music and tales from South America and Mexico.

Multicultural performer, Georgette Baker was born on the island of Aruba in the Carribbean and raised in Venezuela. She has traveled to all five continents and speaks Spanish, French, Italian and Greek. A former actrss and certified teacher, Georgette now performs exclusively for schools and libraries and produces a line of bilingual books and music of traditional songs and fingerplays from Mexico and South America, called CANTEMOS.
