“Drums Through Time” is a 45 minute educational drum performance geared especially toward K-8 school audiences. Your students will travel through time as we explore different instruments and musical styles through performance and audience participation. They’ll hear log drum, marching drum, xylophone, vibraphone, drum set and even some found sounds! Scott brings it all…INCLUDING THE KITCHEN SINK!!
Scott Brown is a graduate of Georgia State University in Music Education and has over thirty years experience teaching both elementary and high school music. Scott has performed with the Atlanta, Macon, Charleston and Chattanooga Symphony Orchestras as a freelance percussionist. Scott is a charter member of the award winning Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corp percussion section and has performed with, instructed and composed for the national champion CorpsVets Senior Drum and Bugle Corps. Scott has also performed with the National Brass Band Champion Georgia Brass Band as a percussionist
