Storyteller and Folksinger Al Hirsch, AKA Alleyoop »

Songs Tell Stories with Allan Hirsch

Ideally, this is an all day program that provides a unique experience for ewach age leval within a school group, and includes up to 4 seperate assemblies. All student assemblies are also a possibility.

An assembly program for elementary age children is best when different age groups can be brought together.i.e. kindergarten and first and second grades would hear stories that are aimed at their developmental leval. Third and Fourth graders would also have their own program. The fifth and sixth graders would in turn have a program especially for them. Variations are inevitable.

The material the storyteller present might include, tales of Hans Christina Andersen, American Folklore, Native and African American Tales, Riddle Tales, and Poetry. Some of the songs included: Casey Jones, The Cat Came Back, The Boogie Man as well as many others. The artist is open to discuss themes with interested schools.
