Edutainment - musical »
Fantastic! The most informative and entertaining history of music we've had the privilege of enjoying. --- Carnagie Elementary School
LEGACY is an oral presentation in the great storyteller tradition. Set to pre-recorded music, Maggie Brown engages her audience with a narrative lesson in African American music history, and with songs demonstrating the various art forms which have been created. There is audience participation as Brown traces from the work songs sung on southern plantations to present day urban contemporary rap music.
Excellent for the celebration of African American History Month, LEGACY is black history! LEGACY is music history! LEGACY is storytelling! LEGACY is edutainment!
LEGACY is exciting, intelligent entertainment for adults and children alike.
