BIG>Barbara London is an "extraordinary soloist...a flutist who really swings." New York Times. As a soloist or with her ensemble, her performances and workshops display her nationally acclaimed talent as flutist, vocalist, pianist, and composer. Her repertoire includes original and standard jazz material. Barbara has received three National Endowment for the Arts grants for jazz performance and was recently promoted to Chair of the Harmony Department at Berklee College of Music in Boston. She is also performing in a new venue with singer/songwriter John Perrault and Jim MacDougall. Their program, "An Evening of Ballads, Blues, and Jazz", is a collaboration of diverse musical styles featuring three part vocal arrangements of original compositions.
