How do I sign up?

1) Go to http://www.schoolshows.com/performers_register.php
2) Enter a username and password.
3) Fill out your profile, and click PREVIEW. You will be able to view your listing before approving it.
4) Your listing will be activated within 24 hours after you sign up for either a LIVE VISIT Listing, a VIRTUAL VISIT listing. Your credit card will not be charged for 3 months. You can cancel at any time.

How do I get and respond to QUOTE REQUESTS?

QUOTE REQUESTS are email messages from schools announcing that they are interested in booking and asking you to submit a quote. You'll receive these Quote Requests in your email and respond to them on your control panel. Schools will keep track of all received quotes on their control panels, and you can keep track of your submitted quotes on your control panel. Schools can broadcast these Quote Requests to selected performers, or to all performers who tour their state.

How do I display my video?

Sign in to your account and click EDIT PROFILE. Scroll to YOUTUBE VIDEO. Enter the Youtube Video Code only, not the complete URL or Embed script. For example, in case of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g9TYjSg6mcE, You Enter only g9TYjSg6mcE.

What is a "Virtual Visit"?

How many photos can I put on my slideshow?

Unlimited. Sign in to your account and click MANAGE SLIDE SHOW.

How am I charged?

LIVE VISIT LISTINGS and VIRTUAL VISIT LISTINGS are not charged for the first 3 months. Thereafter, you are charged $8 per month or $85 per year for one listing. For two listings you are charged $12 per month or $125 per year.

How do performers enter reviews?

If a school has given you a quote, or a letter of recommendation, or a thank you email, you can enter it yourself to be viewed on your listing. Just log in to your control panel, and click ADD REVIEWS. Enter the review in the form, and be sure to enter the name and email address of the person who wrote the review. After you submit a review, we send an email to the reviewer asking the reviewer to confirm the review. This is done to prevent the submission of fake reviews. More about reviews

How do schools enter reviews?

Schools can enter a review of you by clicking SUBMIT REVIEW at the top of your More Info page. You the performer, are allowed to confirm and approve of all reviews before they are published. This is done in the following way: After a school enters a review, an email is sent to you, asking you to approve or disapprove of the review. We do this so that no fake negative reviews of you are possible. More about reviews

How do I get multiple listings?

If you are an agency representing 3 or more performers, or a performer with 3 or more acts, you will save money by getting a Multiple Listing Account with SchoolShows.com. 3 or more listings cost only $50 each. Here's how it works...
1. Notify us by email that you intend to list 5 or more acts.
2. Create an account and enter the information for your first act. Then create another account for your next act, and so forth until you have a separate account for each of your acts. You can use the same password for all of your listings, but you'll need a different username for each. Use this format for your usernames: name1-name2, where "name1" is the same for all of your listings, and "name2" refers to the specific act.
3. Submit your payment by credit card at http://schoolshows.com/payment.php, or by mailing a check to SchoolShows.com, PO Box 181, Temple NH 03084.
4. Within 24 hours after we receive your payment, your listings will be activated.
5. BONUS FEATURE: After your listings are activated, SchoolShows.com will create - at no extra charge - a customized "Main Listing" for you. This Main Listing will have information about your agency and will contain descriptions of and links to all of your other listings. Read more about Multiple Listings

Good advice about your photos.

Your online photos do not have to have a resolution higher than 72 dpi. Thumbnails, next to your blurb, are restricted to 64 pixels wide. So, it’s a good idea to upload a photo that will not be distorted when reduced to this size. Photos that are taller than wider look better.

How to cancel your account.

If you want us to cancel your listing for you, email listings@schoolshows.com, and we will cancel it for you.

If you want to cancel your listing yourself, follow these steps:
1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click PROFILE at the top of the page.
3. Click MY MONEY.
4. Next to "My Pre-Approved Payments", click UPDATE.
5. In the Merchant Column, Click SchoolShows.com
6. You should now be at the "Subscription Details" page. Scroll to the bottom and click CANCEL.
