How do I sign up?
1) Go to http://www.schoolshows.com/performers_register.php
2) Enter a username and password.
3) Fill out your profile, and click PREVIEW. You will be able to view your listing before approving it.
4) After approving your listing, you will be prompted to enter your payment information for either a BASIC LISTING or a TOP LISTING. Your credit card will not be charged until the 3 month free trial is over. You can easily cancel at any time.
5) Before your listing is activated, a human will review it within 24 hours and then activate it.

How do I get and respond to BID REQUESTS?
BID REQUESTS are email messages from schools announcing that they are interested in booking and asking you to submit a bid. You'll receive these Bid Requests in your email and respond to them on your control panel. Schools will keep track of all received bids on their control panels, and you can keep track of your submitted bids on your control panel. Schools can broadcast these Bid Requests to selected performers, or to all performers who tour their state.

How do I display my video?
Sign in to your account and click EDIT PROFILE. Scroll to YOUTUBE VIDEO. Enter the Youtube Video Code only, not the complete URL or Embed script. For example, in case of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g9TYjSg6mcE, You Enter only g9TYjSg6mcE.

What is the difference between a BASIC LISTING and a TOP LISTING?
The only difference, besides price, is that TOP LISTINGS are listed first in search results. TOP LISTINGS are listed alphabetically by organization name. The BASIC LISTINGS are listed, also alphabetically by organization name.

How many photos can I put on my slideshow?
Unlimited. Sign in to your account and click MANAGE SLIDE SHOW.

How am I charged?
All new listings get a free 3 month trial. After entering your profile, you will be prompted to enter your payment information for either a BASIC LISTING or a TOP LISTING. Your credit card will not be charged until the 3 month free trial is over. You can easily cancel at any time. BASIC LISTINGS are $5 per month. TOP LISTINGS are $8 per month. Your credit card will be automatically be charged each month.

How do I enter my calendar events?

How do I get multiple listings?
If you are an agency representing many performers, or a performer with many acts, you will save money by getting a Multiple Listing Account with SchoolShows.com. Here's how it works...
1. Notify us by email that you intend to list 5 or more acts.
2. Create an account and enter the information for your first act. Then create another account for your next act, and so forth until you have a separate account for each of your acts. You can use the same password for all of your listings, but you'll need a different username for each. Use this format for your usernames: name1-name2, where "name1" is the same for all of your listings, and "name2" refers to the specific act.
3. 4-20 Basic Listings are $20 total per month. 4-20 Top Listings are $40 total per month. Submit your payment by credit card at http://schoolshows.com/payment.php, or by mailing a check to SchoolShows.com, PO Box 181, Temple NH 03084.
4. Within 24 hours after we receive your payment, your listings will be activated.
5. BONUS FEATURE: After your listings are activated, SchoolShows.com will create - at no extra charge - a customized "Main Listing" for you. This Main Listing will have information about your agency and will contain descriptions of and links to all of your other listings.

Good advice about your photos.
Photos do not have to have a resolution higher than 72 dpi. Thumbnails, next to your blurb, are restricted to 64 pixels wide. So, it’s a good idea to upload a photo that will not be distorted when reduced to this size. Photos that are taller than wider look better.

How to cancel your account.
If you want us to cancel your listing for you, email listings@schoolshows.com, and we will cancel it for you.

If you want to cancel your listing yourself, follow these steps:
1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click PROFILE at the top of the page.
3. Click MY MONEY.
4. Next to "My Pre-Approved Payments", click UPDATE.
5. In the Merchant Column, Click SchoolShows.com
6. You should now be at the "Subscription Details" page. Scroll to the bottom and click CANCEL.
