Alexander Joy Cartwright, IV has spoken at various events over the years representing his heritage as the great-great-grandson of the man who is the architect of baseball. Mr. Cartwright holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration as well as being licensed as a Certified Public Accountant. Currently, he is a consultant in the Defense and Aerospace Industry. He owns Mr baseball LLC, The Founder of hte Mr Baseball Foundation, Commissioner and Founder of the Pacific NW Vintage Baseball LEague,Director of hte World Sports Hall of Fame and member of the Seattle Mariners RBI Club. Alex promotes educational information to groups about baseball history. His www.mrbaseball.com web site attracts interest from baseball enthusiasts from all over the world. He receives emails for his assistance with historical baseball references from publishers and literary agents, to even young boys who want help with a school report!.

Description of program:

Baseball History - Descendant of Baseball Inventor The History of Baseball, presented by the great-great-grandson of the man who invented the game, provides historical information (in a multi-media format) dating from the mid-1800s to present day. Most of the themes surround multiculturalism, and how baseball has made a powerful impact on our society in a positive way. For grades: 5th grade through college, corporations and organizations.
